If you have been enrolled in a study programme that you have successfully completed this academic year, you can apply for your degree certificate on this link: deusto.es/secretariavirtual, by post or in person at the General Secretariat. Please check application deadlines. After the end of each semester, it is necessary to carry out file closure processes before those who have finished their studies can request their degree certificate. You will find specific information in the Enrolment Instructions each year; but as a reference, applications start 3 weeks after the end of the assessment period in each session (1 week after the marks for the last exams held have been confirmed). For subsequent academic years, following the completion of studies, applications are open on a continuous basis (except for August and UD holiday periods). In order to process your degree certificate request, you should have submitted all the supporting documents required and be up to date with all payments. The University of Deusto has set up a self-service system that allows to request degree certificates for current official degree programmes and pay the fees through the following link: deusto.es/secretariavirtual. You can also request it in person at the General Secretariat office. Self-service applications are not yet available to request degree certificates for Deusto degree programmes. How and when will I receive my official diploma?
If you wish to collect the Provisional Replacement Certificate in person at the University (by you or a duly authorised person), you must inform the University when you request your degree certificate so that it is not sent by post.
Certificates will be issued and made available within the maximum time limit laid down by law. When your degree certificate is ready for collection, you will receive an email in your @opendeusto.es address and in the personal account you provided to us when you submitted your request. If you change your email address, please remember to inform the General Secretariat so that their database can be updated and you can receive the notification for the collection of your certificate correctly.
Can I request a duplicate degree certificate?
Due to loss, destruction or deterioration.
Due to change in personal data
To include successive specialisms (Bachelor's) or specialisations (Master's)
In cases 1 and 2, the degree certificate (physical document) that had been issued must be invalidated.
If the reason is loss, the legislation requires publication of a notice in the BOE (Spanish Official Gazette) prior to the processing of the replacement certificate. This publication is managed through the University. One month after publication, if the degree certificate has not been found, the University will begin the process of issuing a duplicate certificate.
Requests for a duplicate degree certificate (either official or a Deusto degree) must be processed at the General Secretariat; it is not possible to process it through the self-service system.I need a certified copy of my degree certificate
